Hello there

Couple of times we got outofmemory logs and thinking to increase max heap size from 1.5GB to 2GB to each JVM in production. We have 12GB ram in our VM WAS server.

is it save to do? should I start with 1 JVM to see and do rest later. Is anything else I have to change ?

I'm planning to change from WebSphere admin console and will restart services and assume that's all I need.

Hey Guys

I am just starting using the ERP and I am working as a kind of BI analyst.

I need to extract some information from the database to make some joins later on and come up with some the results.

I already collected, from the internet, the table names and for which process they belong to.

But I need to understand how all the tables are linked, so basically the Relationship diagram would be essential to have but I could not find anywhere.

For this first moment, I basically need to identify the following fields and which tables I need to extract and which fields must be crossed to join all the information I need. Some of them I have already identified, others not. But what tables and which fields more do I need to come up with all these information in only one table?

For that, I need the Entity Diagram Relationship Model. Someone could help me with?

Print Immediate versus Display and Print from Windows [DIFFERENT!]

Not sure if anyone has discovered the differences between between a BI Publisher result via print immediate or bringing up a submitted job and sending to printer.
I seem to be getting layout/spacing differences with the report. Has anyone seen this and is there a way to resolve these differences?

Occasionally we have our web instance stop responding in which we have to restart the instance from server manger. Looking for ideas of where to look. User time out set to 1 hour.

I have a grid that has image icons in a few columns. All of these icons will call a button since 95% of the logic is the same. In this button, I want to figure out which icon was pushed so I'll do something different depends on the icon (the other 5%). How do I figure out which icon was pushed please? Any technique or trick you recommend? Thanks

Right now if I have something that will be used by more than one form control then I create a button (hidden) and put this logic into it. All other form controls will call this button. Is this the most common thing to do for reusable code? I'm looking for best practice. Thanks

Hi, while trying to match PO and invoice in P4314(A/P voucher match)
The batch and Document number that got created after match, is disappearing on closing the batch.
An error message from webpage saying 'Transaction error - transaction cannot be committed, it was cancelled' is popping. can anyone kindly suggest what I am doing wrong. It will be a lot helpful. Thank you!

We have some items that the avarege cost from P4111 - Cardex doesn't match with average cost from P4105 - Acess to Item Costs. From day to night some items had a high of, say, 50 cents for no apparent reason. Has anyone ever experienced this?

My name is Marcelo and i am new in CNC's world and i have a situation: in PY enviroment, when i try to add a new item in p4101, show me an error. In the log show me a constraint error in F4101. I'm tried to solve this problem but nothing worked: I tried to copy the data in f4101 from DV to PY but not worked (add a new item in DV works normally). What i do to solve this problem?

Cannot blank out URDT in P4310

I've added a new date field [URDT] in P4310 and passing it like GC URDT<-->User Reserved Date in XT4311Z1 Edit Line function and it's working fine when it has a value. But when I empty out grid column value, it doesn't update the F4311 file and keeps the last date. I should be able to remove it / blank it out from F4311 if I empty out from GC value. It seems like when I send a blank date, BSFN doesn't recognize the change and doesn't update the record.

Any idea what could be an issue?

we have a large work file that needs to be cleaned up as everything is being posted to it. My question is when you bill the contract what filed gets flagged that it has been processed in the contract. I presume that the field is in the F0911 table.

If someone knows I would appreciate the help.

Hello,

We print invoices from JDE 9.1 using BIP (RTFs, report definitions). If an email address is found, the invoice is emailed, otherwise it is simply printed. After nightly invoice print runs, we would like to generate a report that lists each invoice number, the print queue job number, and the F95632.DDRPDDVLOC (RD Delivery location - printer/email). The would be sort of a reconciliation between system data (print queue - F9563110, F95632) and business data (F4211/F42119.doc). Any ideas?

Hi all

I know this is simple, but it's not working for me.

Polish Tax law states that any 0 value must not be shown. I a tax rate and when it says '0 %' they want to see blank.

So I added this and it's not working. It does blank '0 %' but it also blanks out '7 %' etc too

PO Approval Seems to Loop

We have our approval set up with an approver at zero and an approver at 1. When the user enters the PO, it enters the approval routing. However, when the first person approves the PO, the PO goes back into "unapproved" status without changing the PO. The status code continues to move (it's at a status 400/400 right now without having any receipts).

I checked the F4209 table and I see new entries as a 2N almost immediately after I approved. It seems to be connected to one user's PO's, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

I'm trying to convince the 850 EDI import to create a sales order as a blanket release, but failing miserably.

I have populated F47011 and F47012. I am calling a version of P4210 that is set to automatically release from the blanket. I am populating the original order data with the blanket information. Nada.

Does anyone know of a white paper, or a back pocket trick, to make this work?

Requirement :For a custom table F55xxxxx, any insert/update /Delete events occur , a notification needs to be send in the JMS queue.

Approach : For this requirement the Idea was to create an custom RTE (Single) and wrap RTE logic in custom BSFN.The Custom BSFN will be called from table trigger event of Table F55xxxxx whenever there is insert/update. JDE API to be used for RTE init,add,finalize,free.

Query : I am not familiar with using API's jdeIEO_EventInit,jdeIEO_EventAdd ,jdeIEO_EventFinalize ,jdeIEO_EventFree . can any one let me know the syntax and the parameters that is to be used in these API so that I can align it to my requirement.
