Web exception error. Invalid row number.

Hello there

I got above error and it happens when user edit amount and tab from the column (insured amount). P776176
Logs did not tell too much Oracle said apply ESU which did not fix the problem.
Any help or comment will be appreciated.
Note:
I build full package.
There is no custom code.
There is no UO for the application.

Intro as default press button?

Hi friends,

I have a new special requeriment from a customer. Now, we had a application with a Form Control for quantity and 2 typical buttons OK and Cancel. This working fine, but they want now when the user insert a new quantity in the FC and push Enter key on the keyboard will be as push click on a button OK with the mouse. For they not using the keyboard (because it's a application that run in a PDA).

It's possible? We can asign 'Enter' to a button?

Free good using a grouping of order line value

Hi we are under JDE 8.12.
We are creating sales orders with distinct items and distinct SHCN values from these lines. SHCN is not the one from F4102/F4101.
We'd like to have a free good functionnality based on level break over the sum of the quantity per value of SCHN.
Is it possible?

Report & Applications in a JDE Menu

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is any report or application from where we can get all the report & application names of a JDE Menu?

Example: If I want to know which report & applications are there in the below Daily Processing menu then how to get this info?

EnterpriseOne Menus >Foundation Systems >Address Book >Daily Processing

Note: I do not want to take mouse cursor to the menu and note app name.

Role SYSADMIN capabilities

We are on JDE E1 9.0, tools 9.1.4.7.

We've been asked to fully understand the capabilities of any user that has the role SYSADMIN. As we review the SYSADMIN role setup, we can see that in Menu Filtering, SYSADMIN has access to all menu options. Also, in Security Workbench, there are actions that are also limited to SYSADMIN only.

Our question would be, are they any other inherent capabilities that E1 gives to the role SYSADMIN that cannot be viewed by looking at menu filtering or the security workbench.

BI Publisher burst order

When the report is burst, can the user view the reports in the order in which it was burst. For example, if the report burst by Address# in ascending order, can the user view the report in the same order? What if the report is bursted and emailed to the same user? Will the emails be sent in the order of bursting or in some random order?

BSSV Security

Hello,

Currently we have a user that calls BSSV and have full blown security access in P00950. We would like to limit this access. There Published BSSV Security that allows us to provide access to various published BSSV. But what about any other security type. Can we deny access to *ALL and just provide access to Published BSSV. How have you implemented this in your system. Thanks in advance for your help

Rolling Back Pick Slip Next Number

We have customized the use of pick slip number (PSN) in JDE using it in custom fields, parsing it, etc that require it to be 6 characters in length. It is approaching 999999 and we would like to roll it back to 100000. We use the sales order processing and EDI modules. (No transportation, work-order.) I do not see any JDE tables in which PSN in a key. Obviously this will affect data selection, sequencing on some historical reporting/querying which could be alleviated by archiving data. Otherwise, does anyone know of any go-forward order processing issues that would be caused by rolling back pick slip next number?

Training recommendations for an EnterpriseOne newbie.

I'd appreciate some advice about how to get started with training.

Which classes are the most appropriate for a beginner to JDE who needs to learn to publish data from the application?

My position is IT, and I have many years supporting users with another ERP package. I want to learn the tools & to write reports & learn application enhancement techniques.
About a year ago, I did Oracle University's "JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Common Foundation Rel 9.x". It was a decent start, but too long ago. I am not certain if I am on the right track, but I am trying to decide between Oracle University's "EnterpriseOne Development Tools Part 1 Rel 9.x" or JDETip's "Enterprise Report Writer I 9.1".

Which is better, or is there something else, I should look at first?

Using Regular Expressions (regex) in a BSFN

Anyone ever use regular expressions in a BSFN?

I found the header file uregex.h (and the libs/dll) in ..system\includev\unicode but it doesn't appear to be referenced by jde.h and ..system\includev\unicode doesn't appear to be listed as a header file directory by busbuild and it it doesn't include the libs file when linking. I can work around both of those (dynamic linking, etc.). I am just wondering if JDE has somehow exposed this (or different) regex library some other way.

BSSV is JP130001 public?

Quick question, should JP130001 (Equipment Work Order Manager), be a published BSSV? Oracle docs here: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E64610_01/EOAAA/scm_work_order_equip.htm#EOAAA1637 seem to imply it is. But using weblogic on the BSSV server to explore deployments don't show it, and it doesn't respond with a WSDL on what I think the correct URL should be: https://192.168.2.36:8006/DV910/Equi...erManager?WSDL

Anyone know?

BI Publisher- Printer- Font Change

My Client used to print is checks on a Samsung printer in which the main printer was printing fine whereas the back up Samsung printer has some alignment issue- so they replaced the second Samsung printer with a new hp one. In fact they want to replace both with hp printers.

Now, I observed that the Samsung printer is printing the check properly whereas HP printer is not printing the check number and the company logo.

The primary reason for this the “FONT” setting of the HP printer is bigger than Samsung so there is no space for the report to print the check number and the logo.

I tried printing the same report on a normal Printer (Konica) the output is similar to that of Samsung- which means that the HP printer font is different from all other printers.


Questions for all the folks is how can I "Change The Font" of this HP printer to normal size or desirable size.

Voucher Match Automation-R4304020

We are getting the attached error while running the R4304020-XJDE0002 version.We had customized the B4304000 to match the invoices to PO
's without quantity.The matching is happening but in work center we are getting the attached error.

What could be the issue?Pls let me know.

Issues with vocabulary overrides in standalone

Hi All.. There is one that is currently faced by one of our standalone's where labels of some forms of an application e.g. P1702 are not getting translated properly in Russian (RU) language while some get translated. There are many appliations in which we are facing this issue. But we are able to see it properly in shared server. We tried to resolve this by sending an ASU from shared server to standalone but still no success. The problem is when an ASU is made, we test it in our sandbox environment and we are able to find the entry of RU language for appl P1702 in F98750 table (DV811) but when we apply the same at standalone we are not able to see the entry in the same table. We always make an ASU from PD of shared server and apply it in Dv of standalone. Also, we use Boomerang tool for making an ASU. The objects which are sent through an ASU are getting successfully checked in DV of standalone but we are not able to find the entries in F98750 table. Can anyone help us on this?

How to Re-direct E9.1 sign-out page or auto close when JDE user clicks sign-out

Hello,

we are upgrading to E 9.1 on tools release 9.1.5. I have a question if anyone has a way to knows how to change the user sign-out page in 9.1 to either auto-close on sign-out or re-direct to a generic custom webpage. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Advanced Pricing -Order in which Price Schedules are Evaluated

I know I've seen the answer to this on MOS, but I can't find it. If a customer has three potential price schedules:

1. Schedule entered as a preference (P40070) for that customer.
2. Schedule attached to the customer on the Customer Master.
3. Schedule typed into the header in P4210 during SO Entry.

Can anyone tell me the order in which these schedules are evaluated by the software?

We are currently upgrading to Enterprise 9.1 on tools 9.1.5. Does anyone know how to Redirect the JDE sign-out page to a Generic custom webpage? Or a way to Auto-close JDE on Sign-out?

A/R "grace period"

I'm being told that CASH APPLICATION has a "grace period"
that allows discount to be taken, when the payment is late,
if it is late by less than five days.

I've looked at code, processing options, and the manual
but don't see, or am overlooking, "grace period".

(I also don't see any custom code allowing for this.)

Does JDE vanilla have this feature?

Connect JDE to SharePoint (Custom solution)

Looking for solutions to connect JDE to SharePoint in order to allow JDE to do the following:

1) Locate a document on SharePoint
2) Ability to update metadata on the found document
3) Monitor the document for change (A change in metadata for example)

We are currently seeking a solution for our P2P process would like to know if anyone has attempted to use OData to connect to SharePoint or other custom solutions.
