Serialized Tables empty and no visible Web Menus

HI, I have the following issue; Successfully built and deployed a 8.11 full PY package, (backed up the JAS/System folder and restored after package installed) and Installed the package onto a generation machine and then generated DD's and Global Tables, performed the full web generation (JPY811) but when I log into PY web client there are no menus whatsoever, just a blank page. When I look at the PY811.F989998 and PY811.F989999 tables they are empty (tables were truncated before the web generation). I have tried the same procedure on another generation machine but the results are the same. Could the issue be related to the JAS.INI, JDBJ.INI? Any help would be much appreciated, it's probably something simple but I can't see the woods for the trees.

Website for JDE Package requests from developers

Dear All,

I would like to know if anyone had created a Website for JDE Package requests from developers, if so then please share the page design and code.
I want to implement the same.

What I am looking for is a website which developers can use for requesting for packages for DV, PD etc, once the project name & promotion path code is given then it should come to CNC and once CNC is done with package then he should update the website with completed.

Get attachments

Hi,


I need to get the attachments informed into SKU's. I have found the GT41XX functions. Which this functions I can't get the text attachemnts. I need to get the attachments, but I have more than 1 for every SKU and this methods don't allow to filter by GDGTITNM field. Any idea?

Compare versions list vs. specs

Purging data from custom table

Hello,

I have a custom table that is being growing exponentially, we need to create a purge process that will delete data based in date calculations(anything that is less than this x date will be deleted). Anybody could recommend the best approach to take in this regard?

Rotate a Chart Control in EnterpriseOne

Hi All,


I am currently developing PowerForms in EnterpriseOne that have Chart Controls on them. The process of creating the forms has so far been very straightforward. In one of my forms I have created a Stacked Bar graph that renders perfectly but I would like to rotate the graph so that the bars are showed horizontally as opposed to vertically. Has anyone managed to do this? I have looked on the Oracle Support website and Google'd but I cannot find out how to do it. I have the feeling it is an unsupported feature although I would welcome anyone correcting me. Thank you in advance to anyone that might be able to help.

VAT rounding issues on invoices

Hi



We are having a problem with the rounding of VAT for our sales invoices. we use invoice consolidation and our orders are all multi line orders. JDE calculates the VAT at line level rather then invoice level, therefore sum of vat value on the invoice do not equal to 20% due to rounding issues which causes the invoice to go on dispute with the customer. the VAT calcuation on header level is not used as we are using invoice consolidation.


I have checked with Oracle and there are no fixes for this in E900 or later versions. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and found a work around?I

Keying UPCs in Item Master

We will soon be adding UPCs for a couple dozen items. I was looking at the Storage/Shipping row exit from Item Master, which is where Oracle told me the UPCs should be entered. This screen requires the manufacturer's prefix to be entered in UDC table 41/UC. Our manufacturer's prefix is 6 digits, so the UDC adds a zero to the front of it, because the UDC code is a 7 digit field.

When we enter our UPCs, this leading zero is retained. Is this correct, or am I missing something? At this time, we are not concerned with SCC128, just entering UPCs.

Our UPC format is 6+5+1, which I think is fairly typical. The 6-digit manufacturer's prefix, the 5-digit unique item identifier, and the check digit.

Hi,
I need to audit a JDE instance (EOne 9.1 running on Tools 9.1) for optimized performance and also review its security/activity rules. Is there a best practice guideline that could be followed to come with a strategy for optimized performance (like kernel tuning best practices etc for performance optimization, preventive maintenance practices, security and compliance best practices).
I understand the question is a little generic; but any directions on how to proceed would be really helpful.

but i missed to apply the planner ESU
Can you help me to know if it is ok to apply the planner ESU now.

accessing favorites through carousel | missing data selection / processing options

Hello All,

We are in the process of upgrading to tools 9.1.5.7

As a part of our surface testing, one of our end user pointed out that when a report is added to favorites, then accessed from favorites through the carousel, the data selection / processing options are not available.
Can anyone else confirm this ? Is this by design ?

P42101 Form not closing after OK Button

Hello Group,

Thanks for reading. I am working on P42101. We have requirement to update F4211 and custom table just after Order is committed. So in P42101 on "OK" button from Event Post Button Async , I commented the "Sales Order Application Controller - External (B4210900)"and moved it to OK Button click event. Now after this BSFN I execute my custom code and update the F4211 and Custom table. Updation works. But the P42101 form does not close and it stays with the data. However the cache is committed to database and record is created in F4211. If we again Press "Submit & Close" it gives error. I even tried to use Set Behavior but still form does not close.

I used the link below to update F4211 after End Doc in Power forms. All works but the form does not close.

Any idea why form P42101 does not close. Thanks for your help.

Have anyone developed, modules/functionalities for handling the Loan Management Cycle for Lending Industry (includes Disbursing a loan and collecting installments against the same over a fixed period) in JD Enterprise One?

Could you please suggest if any standard JDE module can be used as basis?

I have a work file table which contains the information of FY,MCU,DOCO,DCT,MN,WOD1,WOD2.In this work we are storing the value as 15,xyz,S4,RI,1,56NQ01,56NA01 Like that for all 12 months bucket. Similarly for Purchase Items with value change in WOD1 as 56PQ01,56PA01 for all 12 months.
WOD1,WOD2 actually stores the alias name of jde which we are using in another custom table.

Based on this Work File we have to write a report reading the record from f4111 and store the information in another custom table
Structured as
ihfy,ihmcu,ihitm,ihlitm,ih56nq01 up ihnq12,ihna01 to ihna12,ihpq01 to ihpq12,ihpa01 to ihpa12.
How we can map the value which we are getting in Work File WOD1,WOD2 with another custom table field and update the value of f4111.

First time login to JDE on DS after successful installation of E1 9.2 Tools 9.2 on Microsoft Server 2012R2 Standard failed with message: Unable to update required components - Unable to register (TextCtrlMod.dll) Exiting !

JDE connect to db2 data source in AIX platform

I have JDE 9.1 enterprise server running on AIX 7.1 need access to db2 database on linux, and i have installed the db2 runtime client on AIX server, but donot know how to configure the odbc conection on AIX server, does someone could give me a hint on this, thanks.

is not working even though user breaks

Hi i am developing invoice template. In the header section i am able to create invoice no,invoice date,all bill to ,ship to address, while coming to lines section i am able to print 20 line of items information. The header section should repeat in all pages.in the last page at bottom section subtotals, shipping instructions and grand totals should print. this is also done.

But when we give some range of invoices like 10500324 to 10500329. The Template is not working.

it is working fine for single invoices.

I struck at <?start@last-page:body?><?end body?> is not working for the last page bottom section details. in the individual invoice it is working but in range of invoices not working. the bottom section details are placed in side the table earlier it was place out of the table.



Please advice how to solve this issue.

Media Object Storage Location Change???

Dear List,

We have a following scenario and I wanted to check if there is any better way to accomplish this, in case someone had a similar case.

So we upgraded to 9.1 from Xe back in 2014. During the upgrade process the media object library for Xe was not placed on read-only mode. (yes you can laugh on that one!). It was not until 6 months after the upgrade that we realized that the folder was not locked and there were cases were people did place some attachments in those folders on the old Deployment server.
As such we have to keep that media attachment location live albeit locked thereafter.


Now back to current day, we need to be able to get rid of that old server and would like to move over those objects to the correct location (which is the current deployment server).

Now I know we can do that by updating the F98MOQUE and F00165 tables. But I am concerned about the "multiple text attachments" like the one which have a link to another attachment and that one another. I know we have quite a few of them and I am not exactly sure how JDE would behave after I make changes to F00165 table. Does anybody know what could a better approach of achieving this?

Moreover are there any TC UBE which can take care of this change in Media Object location, rather than performing it manually as documented in some of the MOS documents?

ESU reapply

Hello there
This is first time happened to me.

I have installed the small ESU JM14817 but the object on deployment server shows the old ESU number and date shows 02-02-2013. original date was 01-12-2012.

Just want to know how I can reapply ESU in Change Assistant again because once I try the ESU is getting Skipped.
