Flex Accounting with EDI 852

Hello,
Is there a way to use flex accounting with R47121 (Inbound Product Activity). Oracle site says Flex Accouting is available only for P4112 ,P4113,P4114, P4116 and few other Applicatios and UBE but does not include R47121 in the list.

Any workarounds to flex sub-ledger with R47121?

Trying to use Flex Accounting with R47121 (Inbound Product Activity) but Oracle does not list this UBE in supported progrmms for inventory flex accounting.
Is there a way to flex 4122 and 4124 during R47121 processing.

BI Report Bursting

Hello,

Could any one help me on the below scenario.

UBE output is bursting on AN8 field.
AN8 mapped three email ids in F01151. When I am submitting the BI report output is bursting based on address number and sending the output to each email id individually. So that email id 1 can not come to know email id2 & email id3 received the output.

My requirement is I need to send the output to all email ids in one shot.So that email id 1 can come to know email id2 & email id3 received the output.

To: email id1; email id2; email id3;

I have created an report variable in Bursting section and performed table io on F01151, concatenated the three email ids with semi colon. I passed this variable in data driven recipient.
After running the UBE no email id is getting the output. In source Input XML the RV variable id having concatenated email ids with semi colon.
Your help would be more appreciated on this.

Gross Ups abnormal end

We are trying to process gross ups in a large quantity (6k+ employee) and it abnormal ends at about 1500 employees. When running locally, I notice cache leaks for each employee:

I know JDE has this fixed in 9.2, but not in 9.1. We are not under support as we are slowly migrating to Cloud. Function B0702395 is called from B0700059 and 59 is the function fixed in 9.2/9.0 with 9.1 fix possibly coming out this week. Can someone help me out with what was fixed in 9.2 on the 59 function? We have third party support looking at this for us, but so far they haven't found the error. I believe I have everything fixed in R07932 with only the 59 piece left to fix. TIA.

BI Publisher hiding a table column with if@column and if@cell issue

Hi guys,

I've a requirement to show certain columns of a MS Word table based on a condition. For that I used if@column sentence to conditionate the table column. It worked fine.

The issue is that I've the column in the midle of the table and at the end of the table I've a column for comments that I need of a certain width, when I do not used the if@column conditional, the last columns it's showed the size I specified, but when used the if@column, the columns that came after the one I conditioned does not respect the width I've specified.

Anyone suffered the same issue? Any suggestion?

I tried with if@cell, but the result is the same.

Removing Whitespace Pad from JDE String

I'm aware that the JDE String type always pads whitespace characters on a String. I've got a requirement from a web integration to remove whitespace characters from the table column for ALKY - Long Address Number, a JDE String. Is there a way to remove the padding from a JDE String in a JDE table or am I stuck with it? Looking for a way to avoid having the web integration have to perform the task on every table row. The String is typically 9 characters long, but not always, so a custom data type with a length of 9 isn't a solution.

This is a task I need to replicate on 3 of our systems: XE 7.33, 8.98, and 9.2.

Any advice or experience welcome. Thanks.

Sale Order Header Cache

working through some things in the configurator and I need to get some data from the sales order header(order date). I'm dropping into the external bsfn call - it uses the tagDSD3200000 for a DS. Looking for a BSFN or a method to retrieve data from order entry(cache) as the order hasn't been saved to the F4201.

Workflow link not bringing up a screen (just blank)

We are trying to do PO approval workflow. I have followed doc 1206873.1 E1: WRKFLW: Workflow Setup / External E-Mail Setup for Notifications with Releases 8.9 and Newer

We are successfully generating an e-mail and the link and it makes sense to me, but when followed I just get a blank screen, no login, or anything.

Has anyone else run into this? Am I using the right doc? I am doing this in both 8.12 and 9.1, but setup seems pretty much the same with both.

Any help would be appreciated.

BSSV Get and Change Current User

Hi guys,


I have a public bssv, i need get current user logged (I could to call BSFN Get Audit Info, but is there other way to do it? with context or connection ? )


And I need change the user for transactions. I could manually assign the user in transactions or when call bsfn (if there are userId as input, because other bsfn get user internally) but it is very costs if there are a lot of transactions and bsfn. From same batch or application to do it i use a bsfn (BD3NSETU) that internaly copy userid input to SysPref with
jdeStrncpyTerminate(lpBhvrCom->SysPref.szUserName, lpDS->szUserId, DIM(lpBhvrCom->SysPref.szUserName));
It call to start and change the user for all transactions.
But in BSSV doesn't work.

UBE Versions data selection

Hi,
I removed doc types from the data selection from our Client detail aging report so that the Aging Report process would no longer exclude them. But when i ran it, the report continued to reflect that the doc types is being excluded.

This report is run through a wrapper job which is scheduled to run, we could see data selection in the version is correct, but in submitted jobs under execution detail we could see it is still excluding doc types.

We were wondering why the scheduled job is still excluding the doc types when we removed that from the data selection.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Payroll - Categorize employees based to hit Payroll in a different account

For governmental purpose, we have one custom field (Sponsor) which categorizes employee.
Employees might be in same company, business unit but differ in the custom category.

For example,
Name Co BU Sponsor
Mike 00002 2BU1 20
Smith 00002 2BU1 20
Anand 00002 2BU1 20
Rauf 00002 2BU1 80
Mir 00002 2BU1 80


While doing Payroll Journal Entry, all the PDBAs will hit same accounts because of BU mapping.

Now, is there any way to configure the system to hit the last two employees ( Sponsor: 80) hit different accounts than the first three employees ( Sponsor: 20)

F3102.CPAT doubled after R31802A

Dear Lists,
We just went live on 9.2 (TR9.2.0) however suffered the situation when scheduled R31802A runs in final mode, some work orders F3102.CPAT doubled than F3102.OPAT. Have checked the Oracle Support there does the indicate the bug, however not pretty fit our situation.
We are pretty straightforward the SBF activity where is 07 standard cost, and there are no scraps. But some work orders F3102.CPAT doubled and some are not after R31802A runs. Support said when R31802A runs the work order twice this can happen but how do I know why the R31802A will run over certain orders twice?
We set the R31802A with the single thread which is no other programs run at he same time. Could someone help how this can happen to our urgent situation? Thanks lot!

E812 Tools Releases

I am not a Technical expert but I do Applications Support for a site that is still paying maintenance but still using E812, mainly as back office to in house systems.

They do not have inhouse JDE expertise in Technical or CNC areas and I am just trying to help guide them to right source of information..rather than a sales pitch to upgrade.

Where can I find what the latest Tools Release is possible for them and possibly find an answer for this question posed by the CIO:

Are there are tools versions that would enable us to move DB version from current to 2008R2 and move to our production DB server which is 64 bit and more powerful than current JDEDATA.

Any help appreciated.

Automated Changes to existing PO & Cancel lines

I've been asked to look at a way of changing 3 fields on a PO and also cancelling a line. Quantity, Price and Promised Del Date

I've been told to change our existing Inbound 856 process UBEs.
EBI writes to F47031/32 and then wakes up a clone of R47031 which populates F4301Z1 / 11Z1 before calling a clone of R4311Z1I to write to F4311 / 11 proper

It's only 3 fields we need changing, that's overkill what they've suggested, right?
How would others go about it?

Write to F4311Z1 directly?

Submit an Interactive Application?

We saw a new one today that has us scratching our heads. One of our production users somehow managed to submit an interactive application. We came into work this morning and this P55 entry showed up in work submitted jobs where it had failed because there were no specs.

We verified that it truly was an interactive application and not a misnamed UBE. We can go to the user's task view and run it fine. It's used all the time, been around forever and hasn't been modified in over 6 months.

It has only happened this once, so not a big issue. But we cannot think of a way JDE will let you submit an interactive application. Every way we can think of submitting a UBE, won't even let you select an interactive application. So, out of curiosity we are posting here to see if anybody else has ever seen this happen before.

BI Publisher - Burst to Customer Email Address

We have setup a process to email AR Customer Statements to our customers. The emailing seems to work fine so far.

However, I am wondering if there is a way to specify the 'type' of email address to use from the F01151 table (types 'E', 'ES','I', etc.). We may have the possibility of many email addresses for a customer and want to use only the "ES" type for Customer Statements. BI Publisher only seems to use the "E" type of email address (Email Address).

Is there a way to specify this in BI Publisher? I don't really see this on the Bursting and Delivery screen.

Jde bssv issue

Hi All,

I have created a new custom BSSV. When I run it on soapUI, it throws the following error message.

<faultcode>soapenv:Server.generalException</faultcode>
<faultstring>org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The root element is required in a well-formed document. Message being parsed:</faultstring>

Can any one let me know what could be the cause of the issue.

Advanced Pricing, Currency - Exchange Rate Date

Hello,
How to convert price using exchange rate other than for the order's date?

Our sales in USD and also we are adding transportation charges, which are in our local currency.
We store transportation charges in variable table "Transport" and use formula (&TRANSPORT)!USD which converts transportation charges to dollars using exchange rate for sales order's Price Effective Date (which is shipment date or some load date, or some other date sometime, whatever).
Unfortunately now we need to change it, we need to take exchange rate for today's date, I mean, when we are ready for invoicing we need exchange rate to be as for invoice date, not as for shipment date, as it was before.

Is it possible to change formula for it to use current date's exchange rate?
