1099-A, Acquisitions or abandonments of secured property - how do I print/transmit?

List,

I have to generate and transmit an 1099-A, Acquisitions or abandonments of secured property.
I've never seen this particular 1099 before.

The layout to the form is quite different from the 1099-Misc.
I don't see any code in our (very old, a7.3, P04515 (1099-print)).

Is anyone else submitting this form?
Did you modify vanilla to print it?

business function to calculate cummulative balance in F0902

I have a period number and I want to calculate the accumulative balance for an account ID in F0902 up to that period number. Do you know of a business function that can do this?

My starting point is I have an account ID, can I get the above information without running my section over F0902?

Inventory Item Shows Negative On Commitments

An invenroty item is coming up in negative status availability with a from likely over commit from sales processing.

Reportedly the correcting should be provided thru the repost Sales UBE, that reported can fix. But had no impact when it ran late evening. This is likely
do any potentially any pending orders were in 999 next status or the others in 535 next status may have other issues. Then had some talk
of maybe creating a dummy order to insure that item adjusts properly thru that UBE.

Any help here?

Clients running reports from web failing - output disabled in INI file

We have Web Clients running custom reports on One World ERP and their reports are all failing with the following error:
Mar 28 15:49:55 ** 28311614 **** jdeDebugInit -- output disabled in INI file.

I run the same reports and my report runs successfully on the web.
Does anyone on the listserv know what would cause this to happen. Have never seen this type of error before.

Not sure what would cause this. Our CNC person is on vacation this week. Any ideas how to fix this?

I did a search on the web and it indicated that this is not an error to worry about. But this is the only error that appears in the JDEDebugLog. These people usually run reports with no problems. All I can see is the security for this person was changed back in January of this year but I do not see much else.

Media Object Setup...

JDE OneWorld XE, Release: B7333

I’m still fairly new to JDE. This is the first time I’m working with Media Objects, specifically for the “P0911 – Journal Entries” screen - adding JEs to the Batch.

Question 1: Is there a way to prevent a user from modifying or deleting an attachment once it’s been attached, but still have read access? Unfortunately, this is a showstopper for the project I’m currently developing.

Question 2: There is a Row Exit called “Attachments” for attaching a Media Object. Why don’t I see it in the “Menus/Toolbar exits…” for the form?

Question 3: Are there bugs when attaching an OLE? One of the users attached an OLE to a new JE (first), saved the JE, then accessed the JE, but the attachment wasn’t there. When the user entered a new JE (second) and then tried to attach an OLE, the attachment from the first JE appeared. There is a new form that calls the P0911 where the OLEs are attached, and neither of the attachments is available for viewing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Master Production Scheduling 9.1

I'm familiar with MRP in JDE, but when you execute MPS is there actually a Master Production Schedule that you can see, print, modify, etc.? In other words, does vanilla 9.1 actually allow you to schedule your manufacturing activities and then see the resulting schedule. For example, can I review in one place something that shows me what is happening the first week of June or for the whole month of July, something that is useful to people actually overseeing the manufacturing? Or do you need to have additional modules or add-ons to have something like this?

Has any one know a way to call from a flow or E1 Pages other flow (other E1 Pages)
For example If I have a E1 Pages defined like this:

Then I click on "D" and open other flow/E1 Page

F--->G--->H--->I

Question on JDE migration (moving entire instance to a new data center)

Hi there...

Need some help here. We have a requirement to move our JDE instance (1 deployment server including server manager, 3 Linux enterprise servers, 3 Oracle database servers, 10 fat clients & 5 WebLogic servers) to a new data center (physically different location). The server short names stay the same but the FQDNs & IPs would change. The old & the new data center are connected via WAN. We have engaged a vendor and they are preparing a plan. We have agreed to a weekend downtime to accomplish this.

I need to validate their plan and since I have no experience in migration, I need some inputs from you guys.

1. how does the enterprise server migration work? Would we need to install the Enterprise Server platform pack afresh or do we need to just copy file structure using some utility?
2. I assume that the Server Manager management console needs to be reinstalled - what about the management agent?
3. Can we migrate the WebLogic based HTML/BSSV servers using some utility? Or do they need to be recreated?
4. Am I right in assuming that any standard d/b replication/ migration tool can achieve our migration tasks or do we need to have the DBAs create the d/b and then run R98403/R98403E to move data?

Any inputs and overall suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Non-SQL way to update parent numbers on AR records in E1

Hello

We had an instance where our users inadvertently assigned the wrong parent number to a series of child accounts. The right parent has since been updated on the child accounts; however, when attempting to print a statement for the parent or process a cash receipt, the existing AR records are not populating as they reflect the old, incorrect parent. We were hoping that the AR speed status change program would be able to do this; however, parent number is not a field available in this application for update. R03B802 seems to only look at updating the payor or the alpha name, but not the parent (PA8) field.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Converting Numbers to Words for Hungarian Currency.

Hello Experts and Gurus,

Currently, we have Customised the Invoice Print program for Poland. While printing the Amount we are either printing it in English or Polish Language as per customized Processing Option Setup. For Poland, we have used the Standard JDE Business Function for printing in The Polish Language B74P0090.
Now we have a similar requirement for Hungary as well. However, we did not find any BSFN to convert numbers to words in the Hungarian language. Kindly advice.

Note: This requirement will be required for subsequent countries Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Lithuania.
