Set Selection for a list of values

Hi,

I am designing a interactive application where in Processing option I have some 11 fields. All the 11 fields can have a comma separated string value, one value or no value. What I want to do is I want to filter my Grid data according to those list of values for each field. My attached business view is a join of 5 tables. I am going to call this application through Form Request and Pass some QBE values too.

Lets say in PO, (only taking 4 values for example)
1. SHCN = ASC, ESC,ARC,IUC

Add cap on manual override amount

I'm very new to JDE. Is there a way to put a cap on a manual override amount for a specific item number? For example, I have a small order fee item setup under item 123456 and I want to restrict the manual amount of $500 so that anyone can enter part number 123456 and manually add a fee of $1-$500 but no more than $500?

Hello, I am new to JDE 9.2 and trying to learn about the system. Would someone be able to tell me where do I go to find the data dictionary? I am not sure how to find this.
Also, is there a way to see all the tables and fields for those tables in one window? I have visited a few websites (e.g. https://jde.erpref.com/?schema=920) and have not found anything which allows me to see all the fields in one screen. Thanks for your help!

Hello, I am new to JDE development and need help understanding how I can modify the B5601003 - "Calculates Due Dates by Apportionment - [CalculatesDueDatesbyApportionment]" function in the R564311A report. Append data into an array

Hello,

Here is my problem.
I have an orchestration where I get data from a REST API. The output is an array with multiple rows.
At the end I need to create a CSV file with this data which is ok.

But before that I need to add more information related to each row from the array before creating the CSV file.
I will get the data from another API.

Hello there.

I have a simple need. I want to include the JDE environment as part of an email message. I have some alerting in my ORCH in case something bad happens, the ORCH will send me an email. However, the environment would be infinitely helpful when I received the email. I believe I can write some groovy to get the environment into a variable and pass it along. Is that the only option? Standalone 9.2 installation

Anyone succeeded in installing the recently released Standalone 9.2 ?
So far I managed to install the database following the same procedure as for the Standalone 9.1, but the JD Edwards Client installation (step 2) failed because of a problem with Weblogic server not being installed. I tried to uninstall and reinstall that part but right now i am stuck because even after uninstalling, the installer refuses to reinstall because it seems to think that the client is installed.

Hi folks,
We are on TR 9.2.8.1 and I'm working on creating an Orchestration to get fuel pump data from a REST API and pull it into JDE. Full disclosure here - I'm a product owner and not a developer, we just have some capacity constraints at the moment and I really enjoy this stuff, so I'm trying to get something off the ground from the side of my desk.

Accessing non JDE tables from E1

Hi List,

Is there any way in E1 that I can access read/update non E1 tables?

Sadly, these tables and columns don't have names like F4211 and DOCO, more like they are named table B2BHEADEROB and column EDIDOCNO_EDOC

In the past I have used a DROPPED table and created a view to the new actual table and E1 can talk to external tables. Table name and columns would be the same
But these table names are different and not standard E1 format.

So any idea?

Allocating stock to a customer that is not yet received.

Our sales team has rhe need to reserve
inbound inventory for sales to specific customers that has not yet been received into stock.

There is no lot number ao the sales irder line cannot be hard commited.

Any thoughts on a way to reserve inventory from a purchase order not yet received for allocation to a specific sales order?

Enterprise Server and User Specific Log File Configuration

Hi All,
Just wondering whether it is possible to enable jdedebug.log for a particular jde user on enterprise server?
I am trying to log all business function calls for a specific user that is calling bssv's.
Looking at the documentation it doesn't look it's possible, chatgpt is telling me otherwise :)

Composed Page Not Visible

Long time composed page user. Long enough to know there are some funky edge cases, but I'm not able to figure out what is happening here. I have 5 composed pages, all five have the same security configuration. After approving/sharing the composed pages, I can only see four pages in the Work With Composed Pages and Select Pages screens within the home page. The page is visible within P98220W and P98220U. In an attempt to "fix it", I have:
  • checked out, checked in, & reapproved/reshared...

If a user needs to make changes in multiple applications (ex. Address Book, Item Master, Supplier Master, etc.) what is the best way to approach this as a complete JDE newbie? I am admittedly not great at Excel. If someone can help dumb it down for me I would be very grateful. I struggle specifically finding a role that won't remove access from a current application but also won't grant access to a new application.
