We have a check in production which has a conventional layout. ie It is an 8.5" x 11" page with the check at the bottom and the check stub at the top. The check stub contains a table which holds the check details.
I have been asked to display a duplicate table of the check details. ie display the same table twice on the check stub.
The business would like this because their current checks are divided into 3 parts by perforations. I part for the check. The other 2 parts for the details. They want to be able to tear off the top portion (containing the first table) and keep for their own records and mail out the rest (the check and the 2nd table of details).
Therefore the requirement is:
Leave the check as is, but the table containing the detail lines must be shown in a duplicate table on the same page.
This means that instead of having 1 table listing the detail lines, now you will have 2 identical tables.
If there were 30 lines of details then that would fill a table. Therefore we would want the first 15 lines printed in the first table and then those same 15 lines printed again in a 2nd table on the first check. The remain 15 lines would need to be printed on the 2nd page in 2 identical tables.
So far, I have been unable to fill this request. Wondering if anyone has any ideas or can point me in the right direction on this. I could share the rtf if required. Will have to redact the xml if that is required.

Dear Folks,
We are getting strange error randomly when using JDE Web. There is a small windows which comes in which has the message as HTTP Error:414.
There is happening in couple of cases:
1. It pop's up in between. There is no clue of what is causing this.
2. We have a jas timeout period of 1 hour. If the user is logged in for more than 1 hour without doing anything in JDE web, 1st message which comes is "Your session is expired. If your browser does not refresh, please refresh to login again.". Once we click OK on this message we get the next message as "HTTP Error:414"
Did anyone experienced this?
This happens with OHS link. We have 2 instance with Virtical Cluster and have load balancing using OHS. No issue is reported on Direct link but the OHS link when used this issue is noticed.

In a C BSFN, is there a JDE/cross platform way to lock a critical section for thread safety? I found several things in the \system\include .h files but I can't find any pristine code examples.

Hello,
We are currently using embedded BI Publisher for emailing sales invoices (r42565) and it works great. We are using Send Method in A/R as the data selection on the R42565 to separate the emailed from printed jobs. We are using the data driven email on Sold To which references the messaging indicator on Line 0 of WhosWho. We do have some customers with multiple email addresses receiving invoices.
We are now looking into emailing statements which brings up questions on how statements and invoices coexist in BIP emailing processes. I have been looking here and Oracle Community/Support and keep finding enhancements related to the questions I have but there seems to be little action on them.
So, I have a few questions to ask the community since there will be a variety of ways to handle them.
- What field do you use in A/R for data selection on the R03B500X to separate out the email from printed into separate versions? CRMD (send method) is not on the business view.
- How do you handle the possibility that a customer will want sales invoices to go to one or more emails that differ from statements? Do you require all emails that get sales invoices to also get statements? Do you only allow a customer to have one email address for statements so you can use the functionality of fetching the email address in the UBE and putting it in the data driven variable?

Hi List,
For Tool 9.2.3 Oracle certifies Orchestrator Studio 7 with WebLogic 12.2.1.x. We are currently on WebLogic 12.1.3 hence as part of the tools upgrade will have to upgrade the WebLogic.
I was reviewing the documentation for the WebLogic upgrade and found a document (link below). The document mentions the steps to upgrade the core weblogic component using the reconfigure utility. It mentions that you need to upgrade the domains only if required by the application.
I have the following question, for EnterpriseOne, do we need to upgrade the application component as well or will be fine just upgrading the core weblogic components.
Also, has anyone succeeded in installing Orchestrator Studio 7 on lower versions of WebLogic like 12.1.3. I was able to install and test 9.2.3 (32 bit) for JAS, BSSV, RTE and AIS on 12.1.3 however for Orchestrator Studio I get an error which i'm not sure if related to the MTR or not

I'm trying to create F47011/12 records from F4201/F4211.
Being lazy - I thought I'd copy most of the fields with the following:
JDEDM_LoadDSfromDS( (HUSER)hUser, _J("F4201"),

But it gives me a memory error. I'm guessing it only works on JDE data structures??? (clue is in the name...)

Requirement:
The financial manager will prepare what to pay next month. The user assigned for payment will be restricted to pay only up to the prepared amount. After this amount, the user will get error message and cannot proceed.
Is there exist anything like the above in E1 8.12. It is a kind of budgeting, but I guess, it is better to create a small application to import the prepared excel sheet to JDE custom table ( it will have supplier number, amount, period etc.) . In the payment application (P0413M), when the user create payment, I will check against the custom table.

Hello,
I need to call business functions on OneWorld XE (7333) from a Windows environment. Currently Peoplesoft XPI is installed doing that, but the goal is to replace it.
Are there any sample applications that accomplish this easily? I tried
Patwel's because it seems to work with about every release of E1, from 8.11 through 9.2. It gave me an error just trying to login.
If someone has a link or attachment to a simple hello world type program that does that, it would be much appreciated.

While uploading opening balances, we used G/L class RABD to record the bad debt.
Now, the user want to move the transaction from bad debt to receivable AR09- Other receivable.
How we can do this ?

I ran the P4102P Item Location Purge program this morning directly via the Dream Writer in my CRP environment (PRDDTA73 NOT in library list), and it deleted item branch, item location, and item cost records in PRDDTA73. Any ideas how/why? I had it set to purge to a save library, and it did create the library and 4 of the files. But all 4 files are empty, and I did not get any audit report showing what it deleted.

Could anyone provide in detail best plan to execute it and all the required dos and donts and documents.

I recently changed a custom table(added columns)
The logic in my program checks if the record exists - then if it doesn't exist, it tries to insert.
My FetchKeyed is failing - so in code, i have it trying to insert - but in this case the insert is also failing with duplicate key
Can Spec column XYZ is not in DB META Data make my fetch fail?

Hi Everyone..
Pretty green to the dev part of JDE and just trying to make sense of reading the debug log via JDE Trace. I'm trying to run a UBE that is a copy of R49549 and it's not pulling the NN for the batch that would be assigned for the insert on F49590. However, I'm seeing an issue with the call against the X0010GetNextNumber BF. Any ideas on why it would throwing this?
Any help or guidance would be tremendously appreciated.

We are using R42520 to allocate lots to Sales orders line type S. We have set Item Branch Commitment Date Method to 1 as we want to use oldest lots first.
Our product is such that we never want to mix lots, but are happy to pick the same lot from multiple locations.
Is there a way we can set the data such that R42520 will split between locations for the same lot, but not split between lots for the same item when committing?
We have set Customer Master Billing settings to avoid partial shipping which prevents splitting between a lot and back order.
For info: We have lot control switched on and do not use advanced warehouse management.
Strangely, I have found that R42520 seems to handle lot commitments exactly as we wish when the sales order cost is set to zero. As soon as we introduce a line value the UBE splits commitments strictly by oldest lot first.
Ideas gratefully received.

Having an issue with our custom Price Import Application. We run this application by importing a spreadsheet from Excel and them updating the tables. The import assistant seems to be working properly, we can import the columns from the spreadsheet into that grid; but when we click Continue to bring the data back to the actual application it does not carry over. Interestingly, the data will carry over if it is 100 rows or less. Is there a setting somewhere that I can't seem to find?
I know JDE has this functionality as we have another custom application that allowed me to import more than 100 rows.

Hello,
We have some interconnections with another application, and many modifications have already been performed on the P4314. One of those mods populates the FC Status field in P4314 W4314A with a value. If that value is an "X", I want to change the Pay Status to an "H".
I was trying to avoid modifying either of the XT4314ZN or XT4314Z2 BSFNs, to fix this issue, but I'm running out of options as far as I can tell.
We're on E1 9.2.
Prior to each F4314 Edit Line calls, I have added the condition:
If FC Status = "X" Then
GC PayStat = "H"
End If
Except before the calls to the form exits which pass the FI cPayStatusCode, in those cases I used this conditional:
If FC Status = "X" Then
FI cPayStatusCode = "H"
End If
The Grid updates, but when it posts to the F0411 it still inserts an "A" in the PST field.
I know there's a lot of pieces to this application, so I'm hoping someone can point out something obvious that will solve my issue.

To begin: We are not using Advance Warehousing or Transportation at this point (we could somewhere in the long term). We are being asked to measure our warehouse capacity levels across our 25 warehouses. I am trying to figure out a relatively easy way to review locations with inventory versus locations without inventory. (Not a super accurate measurement, I get it, but easiest to track and gets us what we need.)
However, over time, we've created many locations that are no longer active. Additionally, we have a few "virtual" locations that store inventory as a holding step (such as a truck location while inventory is being transferred from warehouse A to warehouse B).
Since you can't delete a location (or can't without losing data), I'm wondering if there is a way to put a category code on the locations so we can track what is a valid, active location and what is not. Then we can review our numbers based on that.
Or does anyone else have an idea to help?

I am looking for someone who has been able to create a solution to send an email message using the Send Mail object with a variable number of attachments. These attachments are images from a known network folder.

Hi folks,
I have an issue where I am trying to write the duration a transaction occurred and just use get start and end time BSFNs and work out the difference
Issue is, when it's really fast the difference is ZERO as the seconds are the same
So BSFN GetSystemUTime is not good enough as I need the millsecond element
IN->[ 5] <Item>: TimeDateStart <type>: JDEUTIME <Value>: [12/06/18 17:58:59 (UTC)] (actually Dec 6 11:58:59.116550 in the log)
IN->[ 6] <Item>: TimeDateEnd <type>: JDEUTIME <Value>: [12/06/18 17:58:59 (UTC)] (actually Dec 6 11:58:59.989770 in the log)
So this actually took 80000 nanoseconds but the overall second difference is ZERO
Any ideas folks? What DD items store milliseconds and what BSFNs can retrieve and store this. CPUS?
I can't see any BSFN on F9862
