Solution Explorer URL Task Security

I have created a few URL type solution explorer tasks. They work without issue.
However, I cannot find the proper security type to be able to apply role-based security to them. Can someone please point me to the correct security type? Or, if it can't be done, please enlighten me as well.

Can you increase font size of JDE?

I'm connecting to a Windows machine from a Mac. I'm using HTML5 since I can't use RDP because I'm using Mac. The remote windows machine's resolution is 1920 x 1080. It won't allow me to change the display settings remotely.

Is there a way to increase the font size of JDE so it's a little bit bigger to read?

OMW 9.2 clipbaord Copy/Paste In From Object Status Window

We are upgrading one of our JDE instances from 9.0 to 9.2. In 9.0 OMW I am able to select text in the object/project status window on the right and copy to the clipboard and then paste. I can't find a way to do this in OMW 9.2 - seems like any type of copy to clipboard functionality has been removed (ctrl-c, right click context menu, etc.). Is there a way to enable this. Not a show stopper but definitely slows me down... I'm getting annoyed.

Side note. Anyway to edit a post title on jdelist.com. I am now annoyed at my own post title.

How to manage IT fixed asset in JDE, like laptop, monitor, mobile device ..., IT assign these fixed assets to employee, user can view which FA belong to him/her.

Does anybody have some experience in JDE? or any customized program. thanks.

Pros and Cons in installing AIS Server on either WebLogic or WebSphere

Hi all,

i was wondering if anyone here can shed some light on the pro's and con's of installing AIS on WebLogic Server or on WebSphere Application Server. we are currently looking at its features on our current TR (9.1.4.4).
i've looked into it initially and reached out to oracle and their response is that it's recommended to install AIS on WebLogic server as both of this are Oracle Products, i wanted to know if there are some differences in terms of the way it works on both perspective.

hi all,

Do you guys have any information as to what the pro's and con's are on installing AIS server on either WebLogic or WebSphere with our current tools release (9.1.4.4) ?
i've initially looked into this and the only thing i can find is about licensing and support, and seeing as both AIS and WebLogic server are both Oracle products i guess that would be their recommendation.

The 9.1 installation I'm currently working with does not have this enabled. There are no tables visible for enabling. Apparently, this wasn't used in 8.12 before upgrading to 9.1, either. How difficult is it to configure this ability on a DB2 database system?

Execute a custom javascript after an application error!!!

Hi,
Is there anyway, we can execute a custom javascript whenever an interactive application gives an on-screen error?
Say, while entering an SO using standard P4210 application and the user gets some error on the screen. I want to execute a custom JavaScript immediately after the users gets this error.

Hello,
In JDE EnterpriseOne, can we execute a custom javascript after an on-screen interactive application error in JDE?
It should be an auto execute and user don't have to click on any button or something. The moment error is displayed on the screen, the script should be executed.

Weighted Avg. moving to a wrong value

Hi all,
In our cost calculations, we find a large difference between the standard and the weighted avg sometimes a high value and other times it moves to zero. For example, with a stnadard cost of 250, weighted average moves to 1091. Any suggesstion will be greatly respected.

Vendor Report With Terms

Does any such thing exist? I've had a request to provide all current vendors with their associated payment terms, but there doesn't seem to be such a thing in 9.1. It seems rather odd to me that there's not a readily available UBE for what would appear to be rather important information.

How is the MRP date calculated for In Receipt Routing quantities

We are implementing inspection using Receipt Routing and we use MRP in our manufacturing environment.
At the moment we are showing quantities in receipt routing as In Receipt Routing rather than as Beginning On Hand.
But I cannot work out how the date buckets that the in receipt quantities are shown in are calculated.
Does anyone know?

I am trying to create JSP pages which would be able to communicate with published business services in E9.2. If I enter any value in my JSP field, published BSSV should get that value and send a response on same pages. can you please help me with it?

F3112 pulling incorrect WLAN8

Has anyone ever seen when users work with "work orders" that the wrong employee number is pulling in WLAN8? The user that is populating in the record is not even in the same branch plant as the WO (F3112)

once before I've seen these two branch plants cross paths in a weird way (user enters SO, the customer Xref file pulls for a customer in other branch plant) To solve the issue I had to remove the language from the employees address book record. ((No apparent connection to the actual issue, but it's what worked))

Anyone have any idea why I'd have these issues or know where I can look for the crossed wires? I don't even know where to begin...

Selecting Custom Grid Name

I am working for a client with JDE E1 version 9.2.

A user can customize a grid: i.e. move columns, set sequence, etc and then name their customization. There is also a way to attach a custom grid name to a version. Let's say I have 10 custom grid names for a version... is there a way for the program to choose which custom grid name is used? i.e. from event rules?

The client wants several custom grid names selectable from a report interconnect.

Any help is much appreciated!

Boomerang importing TC

I am trying to import TC from ERP8.0 to E9.2 and we are getting error

An obsolete record of spec type JDESPECTYPE_RDASPEC can not be serialized.

Any idea how to resolve this.

Meltdown & Spectre

Are there anyone out there who have taken the patch for Meltdown on their Windows servers and experienced any performance degradation as far as JDE is concerned? I can expand the question to other platforms but we are a Windows + IBMi shop so that's what I am concerned about.
