Relationship between QSoft's Duties, Functions and Components (Table)

Hi,

In my CO they have QSoft installed, and I'm trying to understand the Segregation of Duties concept. I understand that the SoD is kind of a parent to the Function, and in turn the Function is the parent of the Components.

Where in the tables sit these relationships? I mean, how does the system now knows the relationship between an SoD and all its functions; an between a function and all its components.

How to create a folder in SFTP server using connector ?

Hello

I’m trying to create a new folder on an SFTP server with the current date and time stamp each time I upload files. While I can successfully process and use existing folder paths without any issues, I encounter below exception when trying to create a new folder.

Hi all

We are embarking on a large project to write and expose a lot of custom E1 ORCH APIs to an external system to allow them to get and insert/update a lot of E1 data via a new UI.
The ORCHs will be a mixture of form recordings and BSFN calls.
The APIs will be connected to E1 under a generic user ID token type connection but we have a desire to allow database updates etc to be under a specific user ID connected to the new UI for audits etc.

Grid: identify line with error

Hi folks,

It's possible identify which line (and columns if it's possible) has an error? We have a applicattion to upload mass rows. When user click OK it could return errors, standard and custom, customs its easy to control, but standards as item not exists, exceeded quantity, invalid date, etc. user wants to mark in a column the lines with errors to export a excel and review. It's possible to control what lines have errors?

Get JDE app to close itself

Hi All,
I'm using JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 and I created a JDE app and in the Dialog is Initialized Event, I used the system function Go To URL to go to an external hyperlink. When the link opens in a new tab, I want the JDE app to close itself so that only the link tab is open. I couldn't get this to work even though I placed Press Button with OK or Cancel on almost all the events. Good morning everybody,
I would like to know if it is really possible to connect Python with JDE, something like developing a platform that does direct standard filtering and returns values to the user.
I have a lot of difficulty finding materials about this, and I get a bit confused with Oracle's docs too, but I'm very, very interested in understanding this in a filtered way based on my objective.

Holding and Releasing Jobs

When we have scheduled downtime, we usually hold all of the waiting jobs and release them when the system is back up. However, this is a laborious procedure because when we hold jobs, we can choose several jobs at once, but when we want to release a job, we must select each job individually and release them. My question is, is there a method to release multiple jobs using SQL?

I have been trying to install EnterpriseOne E920 DEMO system. Many times trying from new refreshing OS.
It had a few errors during installation. I have resolved them, there are no errors now during the progress of installing all of them. But still , failed to sign in. Excessive delay in Login and first time opening of any application - 9.1 tools 9.1.5

Hi,
We have a JDE lab instance running application 9.1 with tools 9.1.5.7. Our WebLogic 12c based HTML server is having unexplained performance issues. Each time we login, it takes more than a 1.5 mins to come to home screen. Each time a new application is opened, it takes almost an eternity to open it up. Subsequent openings are fast. Unfortunately, the debug log hardly reveals anything with unexplained time gaps ranging from 15 secs to 40 secs at various stages. Here are examples.

JDE9.2 - How to disable "Revision Reason" filed for a sales order record.

Hi,

If I edit a sales order record in P4210 fast path, it is asking for Revision Reason. If the Revision Reason is already exists in record also I will get warning "Change Reason Verification might be required." Then If I click "Ok"(tick mark) again the record will get saved. If I edit record through P4210 it is fine with me..
But if I try to update a sales order record from third party application, because of this "Revision Reason" field sales order record is not getting updated.

I am struggling with setting up connection to API that is protected through OAUth2.0 client credential grant. Tried to setup connection with 'Oauth' security, but it seems I am doing something wrong when trying to add scope and grant_type. I am able to get a token from postman so entra setup is correct. Hello,

We have roughly 40 various stocking locations/branches set up in our system with thousands of the same items set up and associated/stocked at multiple branches. I'm looking do 2 things. One is identify items that are considered obsolete at one branch and move them to a branch where that part is active or dispose of it. Second is to see about ongoing metrics regarding item age. My tools are basically JDE1 and Excel. I do not have any SQL knowledge or access.

Hello,

We need to send emails to different suppliers from JD Edwards, primarily using BI Publisher. However, we currently have only one email account configured, which works for all companies. We would like to be able to register one email account for each company so that notifications can be sent from the corresponding company's account.

Is this possible?

Importing Forecasts - Upserting Entries

What is the best way to bulk import forecasts for a number of items. When doing the forecasts, I would like to "upsert" the forecasts such that if a value already exists for a given date / item / branch it is replaced. If no value exists, I would like to insert that entry.

I am currently considering using `F3460Z1` (Forecast Unedited Transactions) along with `R3460Z1I` (Forecast Inbound Processor) which has a column `FTTNAC` (Transaction Action). However, I am not sure what value to put in...
