trying appDS.inflateUnable to inflate data-struture for BSFN Errors

I saw these errors in the bssv log files this morning. All my connections in my BSSV are AUTO already. I searched on oracle support and it said it's because the connection between the app server and the bssv server were inactive. JDE supposes to refresh the connection automatically and it's not. It failed the first call made to the business function from the bssv server. I even created a generic call every minute from bssv server to the app server to keep the connection alive by calling the GetAuditInfo() bsfn but no luck. Do you have any ideas how to solve the below errors?

CSV Financial Report - Mising Description

Good Day!??

I've got this financial report (big, wide thing) that works 'perfectly' as a PDF. However, if run as a CSV, the Description goes missing. I've verified that the column width is not an issue - I just can't figure out why the Description vanishes when I run the monster as a CSV.

Any Thoughts?

Evaluated Receipts Issue -

Good morning list,

This is my first post (and I tried to do some searching first, so I apologize if this question hasn't been answered before).
I'm having an issue with the ERS process.

Here's what my steps are so far.

Change the supplier master ER flag to "Y" for vendor X.
Create PO for X with items on it.
Push PO through to be ready to receive.
Receive against PO using P4312
Move items from TRAN to STK in P42350

At this time, ER code in F4311, F43121 are both Y.

Once I run R43800, it changes to I, and the order is nowhere to be found on the R470412 output.
Checking the ER code in the F470412 still shows I .

What am I missing here? Is there an additional step once I've performed the P42350 action?

Any help would be appreciated.

Admin rights required to run fat client?

$

We are on E1 9.0, tools 9.1.4.7.

I have just completed the installation of a JDE fat client on a new laptop. After some initial difficulties, I installed a full package form the DV900 pathcode, and after running snapshot to save DV900, I installed a full package from the PD900 pathcode.

So at this point I can execute the current pathcode, do snapshot to save it, restore the other pathcode, run it, etc. Everything is working fine.

But now.......

In order to perform the install and related activities, our IT team made me an administrator on this PC. Our IT policy now though is that noone except IT support is to be an admin on a person's PC, so after the install, that has now been removed.

Now however, when I try to execute solutions explorer, it prompts me for an admin sign on. Its a box that says ' Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer' . Then it notes the program location 'C:\\E900\system\bin32\activeConsole.exe'. Followed by 'To continue type an administrator password and then click yes'.

According to Oracle, they said that while admin rights were required to install JDE fat client, they would not be required to actually execute it. Can anyone shed light on this.

Are Administrator rights required to even run the JDE fat client? or how can you get around this issue.

Thanks.

Data Model save question

Very new to BIP. As part of a Oracle Lending/Leasing install, we will be adding BIP to the mix. I am currently doing very preliminary work using the trail version while licensing, config, and install are being worked out.

I was running through the BIP tutorial and had gotten to the point of creating a data model. However, when I go to save, it consistently says 'failed to save'. I do see a "saving...." note in the upper right, but it never seems to actually save anything. I've tried complete shut down, etc. to see if either it did save or to try again with the same results.

Any ideas?

I need to move to getting the first landing of our sandbox data and I figured it best to figure this out first...LOL

Createform Reprint Manager - how do we specifiy number of days jobs stay around

$

We just upgraded to CTIS/Createform 7x in February.

On all of our queues we went to Properties then Advanced then specified for how long we wanted to keep the output around in the individual queues.
The least amount of days is 2 days and the most amount of days is 9 days. See attachment - showing how Advanced Properties are defined.

When we go to Reprint manager for the individual queues we should only see a range of 2 days to 9 days of output in the Reprint Manager for the individual queues.

But Reprint Manager has kept the output around since we converted to Createform 7x.

How do we get Reprint Manager not to keep output so long? I thought Reprint Manager for each queue worked the same way as the queue properties for the specified queues.

What am I missing?

Please advise how you set up your queues and print manager when your company converted to CTIS/7x

Have looked in all the manuals but have not seen anything that would be of any help. Posted a question to Bottomline but have not heard anything back.

Adding Data Browser (Databrowser) as a task view item

Has anyone tried to add databrowser launch from a task view? I understand that it is normally accessed either via fastpath or from an app, but I am trying to determine if I can launch it from a task ID. I've toyed around a little with launch it outright from a task ID created as a URL and then just supply the databrowser URL to the task ID and it will launch fine... but that goes out the window when the client has more than one web server. Ideally I would like to be able to launch it and pass it what I want it to open (a business view, table + environment, w/e). Any thoughts on this are appreciated!

JDE 8.12 Sales Order T Line Types

$

We're trying to get Text Lines to print using the Pick Slip R42520 program and having endless failure. I've double checked the POs on the UBE on the Display Tab Option 6 to specify a 1 to Print Text Lines. I've added a line to a Sales Order and double checked the status for the line type T in Order Activity Rules and applied it to the Sales Order Line and then added an MOBJ Text Attachment with random text but it will not print on the Pick Slip. I've followed information in regards to Oracle Support but cannot find anything on how to exactly apply the steps. I'd sure appreciate any insight on this subject if anyone can provide the information.

Thanks everyone..!!

Forcing a Row Exit and Changed inside of while loop that changes Grid Values

$

Hello to All,
I already read some posts in the forum with similar problems and i tried all the solutions but none of them works.
Version E811.

Quick explanation:

When a user enters a article , based in some rules , if that article is a parent i will insert new lines on the grid with the Son's. This code is in row exit and changed async and is working perfectly.

My problem is when the user change the quantity of the parent i have to Re Calculate the quantity of all the sons. In row exit and changed async i'm pressing a button ( Recalculate Son's quantity).

The logic of the button is simple:

VA frm_55_LineFather = GC LineNumber
VA frm_55_LineString = [GC LineNumber]
VA frm_55_Identifier2ndItemFATHER = GC ItemNumber.
VA frm_55_QuantityFatherLine = GC QuantityOrdered
//
//
Get Max Grid Rows(FC Grid, VA frm_55_MaxRows)
VA frm_55_NumRow = "1"
While VA frm_55_NumRow is less than VA frm_55_MaxRows
Get Grid Row(FC Grid, VA frm_55_NumRow)
//
If GC LineFather Son is equal to VA frm_55_LineString And GC FatherSon is equal to "2"
//
VA frm_55_IdentifierShortItem = ""
F4101.Fetch Single
F5530022.Fetch Single
GC QuantityOrdered = [VA frm_55_QuantityFatherLine]*[VA frm_55_QuantitySon]
//
End If
//
VA frm_55_NumRow = [VA frm_55_NumRow]+1
End While

After the button is clicked the Quantity Ordered of the sons's are correctly Populated. My problem is that row exit and changed async is not running and Gc quantity Shipped is not being Re calculated. In my thoughts when the user click on OK button the event should Run to all the lines that have changes but this is not happening and i'm recieving an error " Quantities Must Balance".

The ideal is that row exit changed asyns TRIGGER for every line changed after or inside the button click to user can see Quantity Shipped recalculated.

Is there any way to do this? It makes sense to me if a grid value changes ( In this GC Quantity Ordered) this event should occur.

Any Help would be appreciated

How to make a grid read-only?

$

I have headerless detail form with a grid and a button. Here's what I want

1. After users upload (copy/paste) data into the grid using the Import Assistant screen, I don't want users to be able to update the data. Right now when I click on a record in the grid then it turns into an update mode. How do I make it so it's read-only

2. I have a button up on the top of the grid to process some logic when they select one or many records in the grid and click this button. If I make the grid read-only, it's still possible to do this functionality right?

Thanks

SQL query that seems to reawaken itself - Help needed

$

Hi folks,

I have this query popping up every so often in our database (shown below) and we think we've traced it P47036.
The user is just entering a Sold To AN8 and clicking Find.

It's killing the server as it's a huge table and no index on it. (we'll come back to that later)

The DBA will then kill the Oracle session and CNC state the E1 session is dead, yet the SQL statement comes back to life!!!!!

Is this possible?
Or could it be another user is repeating the action?

FROM PRODDTA.F47036 T0, PRODDTA.F470371 T1 WHERE (((T1.SZHLVL = :1 AND T1.SZAN8 = :2 ))) AND (T0.SYEKCO = T1.SZEKCO AND T0.SYEDOC = T1.SZEDOC AND T0.SYEDCT = T1.SZEDCT) ORDER BY T0.SYEDOC ASC , T0.SYEDCT ASC , T0.SYEKCO ASC

Thanks

Deployment Server Migration - F98MOQUE Error

$

Dear List,

We performed a Deployment Server platform migration from a Windows 2008 R2 server to a new Windows 2012 R2 server. I followed all the steps mentioned in Doc ID 659735.1 for this migration. We took the second approach where we changed the name of the Deployment Server to a new one. As mentioned in the document I ran SQL updates on the below tables to reflect the the new Deployment Server name.

F00942
F00945
F983051
F9861
F9650
F9651

After the migration I am able to successfully perform the following:

Log in to JDEPLAN successfully
Log in to DEP910 successfully
Build and deploy an update package from DV910, PY910 and PD910 successfully.
Build a Full package in DV and PY and deploy them.
Sucessfully Able to Check-out and Check-in BSFN, NER, etc.

However when I installed the newly built package on a FAT client I am getting the database error "Error opening F98MOQUE table".

Please note we also upgraded the Local OEE to version 12.1.0.2.0 and the Planner Import/Export all were sucessfull. I followed the below white paper from MOS to upgrade the Local OEE.

JD_Edwards_EnterpriseOne_9.1.4_Installing_and_Upgr ading_Oracle_on_Dev_Client_and_Dep_Server.pdf
JD_Edwards_EnterpriseOne_9.1.4_Manually_Installing _Oracle_12c_as_the_Local_Database__E1Local_.pdf

What could be causing this issue? Any help will be highly appreciated.
I am attaching the jde.log, jdeinstall log and screen shots with the post.

Some additional information:

Application Release: E9.1
Tools Release: 9.1.5.5
iSeries V7R1

Local OEE upgraded to 12c (12.1.0.2.0)

Thanks,
Soumen

I have a headerless detail form that have a grid. right now, when I delete a record in the grid, the application closes out. I want the application to stay on the screen after I delete a record in the grid. How do I do that please?

The strange thing is if I delete all records in the grid then the application stays on the screen. But it closes if I delete just a few records in the grid

Report Language and PDF output metadata

We are running reports where the submitting user profile has "G" in the language preference. The purchase order report is run against a supplier where the address book language preference is set to "E".

When the PDF output is generated, the output is in English which I expect. However, if I look at the metadata in the PDF document, the language keyword is "G". I do not understand whey the PDF metadata shows a different language than the document is actually showing when printed.

Furthermore, I am trying to use the PDF metadata language code in Transform to determine what language the output documents should be displayed. Does anyone have any insight into the PDF language code and how it is derived?
